Los Angeles-based artist Nicole Miller(b. 1982) presents her first solo exhibition at Mallorca Landings. During the exhibition time 3 works will be shown:

The Conducter, 2009, ntsc digital video, 7:13 minutes looped
The Alphabet, 2009, quicktime animation, 2:38 minutes looped
Daggering, 2012, Raw HD video and sound, 34 minutes looped

​

The exhibition focuses upon restaging the trope of musical presentation while Miller examines the gestural, aural, analytic, and intellectual demands of conductorial performance. The video installation challenges the viewer both by perception and meaning.
