Our next show is new works by swedish artist Anna Brag(b. 1965) based in Malmö. The show will present 7 new works in canvas. Annatopia is a place for overlaps. A place where lines, perspectives, time and dimensions meet, cross, open and obscure each other. The artist says: With a thin line I catch what I see. I follow the line, turn the room inside and out and the familiar resurfaces in new forms.

In terms of ideas, I am inspired by my own everyday life in combination with the essay "Heterotopia, about other places" by Michel Foucault. He describes and identifies "other places" using a number of principles.

Annatopia develops its own topographic principles, which i use to create new rooms.
